Front Counter Associate:

This is a unique job at a very unique facility. We are looking for an employee who is self-motivated and proactive. We are looking for a renaissance person who is able to accomplish tasks in a diverse work environment. We place a significant emphasis on Customer Service and as a Front Counter Associate, you would be an integral part of our team. Applicants should be outgoing with a positive mental attitude, and excited about working with a strong team. Interoffice communication skills are a must, and all candidates must be willing to work ALL weekends and holidays.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Customer service/Cashier responsibilities
  • Maintaining inventory
  • Selling merchandise
  • Creating displays for products
  • Answering phone and scheduling appointments/lessons
  • Up-keep/Cleaning areas of responsibility
  • Handling shotguns
  • Responsible for explaining basic safety regulations to customers
  • Light data entry work
  • Strong phone and interpersonal skills along with reliable attendance are both required
  • Assist with events
  • Attend training as needed

Qualification:

  • Customer Service (1yr Required)
  • Must be 18yrs old
  • Knowledgeable with POS (Preferred)
  • First-aid/CPR/AED certified (Preferred)
  • Strong oral and written communication
  • Desire to learn new skill and take on responsibility
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have reliable transportation

Physical Duties:

  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.

Duties and Responsibilities- Front Counter Associate

Duties and Responsibilities- Event Coordinator Assistant

  • Fielding calls and emails from potential customers
  • Scheduling events
  • Informing all department heads of what is needed for each individual event
  • Putting together quotes and collecting payment
  • Maintaining digital records of all upcoming events
  • Assisting Event Manager in daily duties
  • Assist each event from start to finish (Liaison to each event point of contact)
  • Assist with Social Media and Marketing
  • Assist Event Manager with scheduling lessons
  • Attend special events in the Lehigh Valley for promotional reasons
  • Must be a team player and willing to perform Front Counter Associates duties as required
  • Must be comfortable around firearms (we are willing to train)

Qualification:

  • Excellent with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook (Required)

Course Worker:

This is a unique job at a very unique facility. We are looking for an employee who is self-motivated and proactive. We are looking for a renaissance person who is able to accomplish tasks in a diverse work environment. The course worker position is a combination of customer service, maintenance and general labor. We are looking for someone who can work in a group setting, but can also perform when working alone.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work in all weather conditions
  • Open and close the course (lock and unlock trap houses and turn traps on/off)
  • Maintain all traps (keeping them stocked with targets and working properly)
  • Move golf carts in and out of storage daily
  • Assist with course improvements
  • Basic Landscaping / Snow Removal (Open all Year-Round)
  • Must have excellent customer service skills.
  • Must possess a level of comfort with shotguns and be willing to learn more about them
  • Responsible for discussing basic safety information with guests to ensure that they have a positive experience
  • Must have an open mind and be aware of their surroundings.
  • Must have good communication skills in order to work as a team and enhance the guest’s experience
  • Attend training as required

Range Safety Officer:

This is a unique job at a very unique facility. We are looking for a hardworking, reliable Range Safety Officer (RSO) to work at Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays. The RSO is responsible to maintain a safe environment on the shooting course as well as limited instruction, as needed, to customers. We are actively seeking an employee who is self-motivated and proactive to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Open and close shooting stations
  • Move shooting cart in and out of storage
  • Introductions on the course to all guest
  • Firearm safety briefings
  • Assist with shooting events
  • Perform daily safety checks
  • Monitor that customers are complying with course rules
  • Must work well in a group as well as individually
  • Attend training as required

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18yrs old
  • Basic firearm knowledge (Required)
  • Customer Service (1yr Required)
  • First-aid/CPR/AED certified (Preferred)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Assertive without being aggressive
  • Presentation skills for small and large groups
  • Desire to learn new skills and accept responsibility
  • Ability to work in a high paced environment
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work
